What to Expect
Studio Sessions
In the comfortable and informal studio Maria is able to create anything from the classic style portrait against a white or black background to something a bit more edgy and imaginative for models etc. With the latter in mind, Maria has also added her own artistic flair to the studio in the creation of unique backdrops generally for use in model and performer portfolios, but can be applied for personal portraits too. Perhaps you've always wanted a 'boudoir' shot - the ultimate gift of intimacy for your partner - Maria can help you achieve the image you desire.
A normal portrait session will usually last up to 1 hour. All sessions are by appointment only.
For your photo session bring along your own choice of music on CD to help relax you, any props or accessories that you feel will help personalise your images, and a change of outfit; it's amazing how subtle differences can make a huge impact on the finished result.
Pricing

Simply Shoot: 1 Hour photo session just £50 including TWO 7"x5" mounted portraits of your choice ready to fit in your own choice of frame.
The Big Picture: Save £50 when you book this package which includes your favourite 12"x10" portrait framed and ready to go. £165 - No sitting fee.
Tailor Made: Upon application - tell us what you desire and we will tailor the package to suit you. EG: 1-3 hour location shoot, perhaps include a framed print, a canvas, contemporary acrylic blocks (as pictured above) or personalised coffee table book.
Entertainer/Publicity Head Shots: c.30 minute shoot including your three favourite images on CD - £45. A monogramming service for your images is available.
Model Portfolios: >3 hours (studio based) including several set and clothing changes plus your ten favourite images on CD - £250. Location or Studio & Location Mix shoots (3-4 hours) including as above - £350.
NB: Additional travel expenses may apply depending on location requested.
Professional hair and make-up - optional from £35.
Single Pose Dare to Bare: 1 hour studio shoot includes your favourite 10"x8" mounted print ready for a frame of your choosing - £50. Professional makeover optional from £35. Please enquire.
Maria loves to work on location where the session is ususually more relaxed and informal. Perhaps you have a beautful garden or live near a park or woodland, whatever the location, session times are usually arranged to take advantage of the best lighting conditions to help achieve the most flattering images naturally, for your perfect portrait, as well as, of course taking into account your preference.
Prior to your portrait session we will assess together the type of images you have in mind and Maria will be happy to provide guidance regarding clothing, location, time of day to shoot and other details to create the perfect setting.
Pet Portraits
Animal photography has always been high on Maria's agenda due to her genuine love and interest in dogs, cats, horses and wildlife in general. In fact, Maria could not feel more at home than when in the company of her furry friends. Through the rapport she finds with the majority of her subjects she endeavours to capture their unique characteristics and spirit; with this in mind she allows plenty of time for them to become accustomed to and feel at ease with her during any given shoot.

Headshots
Whether you're embarking on or already in the modelling or entertainment industries, it is essential to have professional promotional portraits. Whether for job applications or publicity materials, LMP offers a competitively priced professional service . A short session will provide you with three finished images (available in colour or black and white) on CD for your convenience for your on-going and unlimited printing or internet purposes. Professional makeovers available from £35. Your name can be overlaid onto your images for ease of identification (ie. if your photo gets separated from your application, your photo will always identify who you are). This service is available for an additional £5 per image (£12 for 3).
After The Shoot
Whatever Package you choose, a private on-line gallery is at your fingertips for quick and easy access to view your proof images. Images will usually be available to view on-line about a week following your sitting, and you can then make your selections and discuss the final presentation requirements with myself or simply go ahead and order on-line. You will receive your gallery password via email or text when your images are ready to view.
The additional beauty of on-line viewing is that other family members or friends may order additional prints and products on-line also.
At Lace Market Photography there is no hard sell and no hidden charges. Rather that lure clients with a "bargain" sitting fee and sting them with high costs afterwards I'd rather be upfront with people and make them aware of the costs before hand. All my frames and other presentation products are competitively priced.
PHOTO FINISH
I only use a top-notch processing lab, and quality professional framers where each item is hand finished with attention to detail. Framed prices start from £165, canvases from £145, and acrylic blocks (as seen in the example at the top of the page) from £225. Coffee table books from £165.
Bespoke orders for multiple image selections can also be catered for - ask for a quote. Samples of mounts, frames and other products are available to view in the studio to aid you in your final decision of finished presentation of your photographs.
